Sadly it has been announced that after 20 years, the Downtown Farmer’s Market in Winston-Salem is closing due to a lack of business. Still want to support local vendors and boost our community’s economy? There are many options! If you want to start off your weekend on the right foot, visit the Winston-Salem Retail Farmers Market at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds on Saturdays between 6 A.M. and 1 P.M. or go to the Reynolda Village Farmers Market on Fridays between 9 A.M. and 1 P.M. beginning April 20. If you want some fresh produce during the week, experience the Cobblestone Farmers Market on Third Street on Tuesdays between 10 A.M. and 1 P.M. starting on April 17. And to add to your options, the Bethania Mill Farmers Market on Bethania Road will be opening in the beginning of May.
